DAY 14

Morning we wake and going out the gate wait for the bus to take us to the Wugang Steel Mill and we meet with other student other from other course in Ngee ann Poly.



Some facts :
--> no. 3 biggest steel mill in china (wow)
--> sales revenue reached 63.18 billion yuan in the first six months
--> a town by itself with schools, supermarkets internaltransportation (buses, trains for goods)

a political figure brought us to where they melt the iron ore
temperature of approx 2000 deg for molten iron
chemicals and metal alloys are added to burn the impurities away and harden the steel

water to wash away the impurities during the process

hot rolling mills take slabs of steeltransformed into plates, sheets and stripstemp of 800-900 deg

Lastly, we take photo together with other course.
